Actor-producer-director Thiagarajan who is familiar to Telugu spectators as he played negative roles in several films here had acquired Telugu and Tamil remake rights of Bollywood sensational film Queen. He spent good amount to buy the remake rights.  Thiagarajan took time to sign heroine for the film. 

Tamannah Bhatia was roped in to play the role essayed in the original version by Kangana Ranaut. However, the film's start delayed as Tamannah was busy with other commitments. Shockingly, the actress recently, announced to walk out of the project. What's more, she also stated that, the project has been shelved forever, though she hasn't disclosed reason behind it.

Nonetheless, Thiagarajan has other version on this. As per him, the actress has been dropped from the movie, as the remuneration quoted by her could not be affordable. It is yet not clear whether Tamannah demanded extra pay after the movie's launch.

Thiagarajan said the movie is still very much on but Tamannah is not part of the project. Let's wait and see whom he will sign for the prestigious project!
