Tamannaah Bhatia after earning name as a glamorous actress has been trying hard to take on women centric roles from a long time. She is playing as a Naga Sadhvi in Odela 2 and the movie team released their teaser on boat in river Ganga during Maha Kumbh Mela. 

In the teaser though, the actress seem to have tried something unique for her but not for Telugu Cinema. More or less, the movie looks like a rehash of Ammoru, Arundhati and it looks like Tamannaah is just trying her hand on this genre of films with her playing a character similar to that of NBK's in Akhanda. 

As an Aghora, NBK left an impression on everyone with Akhanda and Odela 2 seems like a mix of Akhanda with Ammoru. The visuals and VFX work on screen are below par but the background score by Ajaneesh Loknath elevated the entire set up. Promotions are grand and unqiue but the story needs to have some fresh approach for this to be a success. 

For now, Odela 2 is just a simplistic VFX film that tries to be a Good vs Evil story with a leading lady taking on powerful Goddess role. Being such old formulaic film can upset the impression on film going forward.
