Actress Swetha Basu Prasad who was arrested in prostitution few months ago was released recently. She is presently relaxing at home in Mumbai after spending 2 months in rescue home. Swetha has revealed what actually happened on that day when she was arrested.

 The actress stated that media's cooked up stories might be the probable cause behind the sudden demise of her Grandfather.She spoke to English daily about the whole issue and refutes reports that she was in Hyderabad for prostitution. Swetha said that she was not called to Hyderabad by any agent for commercial sex.
 
She said she went to Hyderabad to attend an awards ceremony and by bad luck missed her flight and she still have that flight ticket but at that time she was told that her agent was arrested
 
 "I went to Hyderabad to attend an awards ceremony. Call it fate or whatever, I missed my flight back in the morning. There was a raid... I am not denying the incident. But the facts are not what they've been made out to be," she said.
 
Sweta is upset over a journalist, who spread misinformation about her.She added that her grandfather died when she was in reuse home and was missed the funeral.
 
‘’When I was in rescue home, no one had the access to talk with me and how can I give that statement?When I was in rescue home, my grandfather left this world and I didn't even made it to his final rites. My grandfather would have thought that I've really made a mistake. ‘’Sweta said.She said she don't want any sympathy and she hates cashing on to the controversy.
