Updated : May 29, 2026

Sundeep Kishan's upcoming heist drama, Sigma, is officially scheduled to hit theaters on July 31. Directed by TN CM Vijay's son Jason Sanjay, who is making his directorial debut, the film is backed by Lyca Productions. The project features an ensemble cast that includes Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Pandit, and Anbu Thasan.

The makers recently revealed the release date alongside a new poster that sets a gritty tone for the film. Moving away from standard promotional visuals, the poster features Sundeep Kishan in a rugged, intense avatar, wearing an unbuttoned shirt and carrying a blood-stained shovel over his shoulder amid flying sparks. This imagery strongly indicates a raw, action-heavy role for the actor.

Mounted on a massive scale, Sigma aims to deliver high-quality visuals and an engaging narrative within the thriller space. Director Jason Sanjay credited Lyca Productions and his technical team for supporting his vision without compromise. Meanwhile, producer G.K.M. Tamil Kumaran expressed strong confidence in the debut director's execution, noting that the collaboration is set to offer the audience a refreshing and visually rich cinematic experience.
