Superstar Mahesh Babu recently released the teaser for Srinivasa Mangapuram, a film that marks the acting debut of his nephew, Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni. Stepping into the industry with the legacy of his grandfather, the late veteran actor Krishna, Jaya Krishna opts for a gritty romantic drama rather than a conventional, glamorous launchpad, showing solid promise in his initial screen presence.

Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the film is set against the rustic backdrop of Tirupati. The teaser outlines the story of Vasu Babu and Manga, whose vibrant romance is violently disrupted by external forces. The visual palette and the underlying theme of a fierce, blood-soaked fight for love give off a vibe slightly reminiscent of the Hindi film Ishaqzaade. The narrative appears to lean heavily into raw, uncompromising emotion and action rather than a sanitized, breezy romance.

Rasha Thadani co-stars as the female lead, offering a lively contrast to the teaser's intense and violent sequences. The central conflict is further grounded by veteran actor Dr. Mohan Babu, who plays the formidable primary antagonist, adding necessary weight to the film's overall dramatic stakes.
