Updated : Jul 21, 2015

Films are the new craze even among politicians as some top brass of these creme indian law makers are now hoping on movies in their part time. Recently we have seen how many people have applauded Baahubali and its visual grandeur.

Taking the same route, Mahesh Babu’s “Srimanthudu” is now heading for a similar show. But this time, the makers themselves are screening a special show for Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as the story of the film deals with adopting a village and solving the issues of people like what many political biggies and socialites are doing these days.

Mahesh and his director Koratala Siva might have thought of showing this film to politicians to make some real sense, but comedy is that how come a commercial entertainer makes anyone understand about the point? Films like “Peepli Live” (Hindi) that are woven around farmer suiceds, haven’t made an impact on our society, we have to see how Srimanthudu will do.
