Sree Rama Rajyam collections: Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Sri Rama Rajyam first day worldwide collections were approximately 5. 14 crores.  This Bapu’s mythological treat got great response from the 1st day where the total theatres occupancy was around 70% in AP.  Now that’s fantastic for a mythical movie. After the first week, Sri Rama Rajyam Nizam collections were 1.8 crores (share), Uttarandhra made around 69 lakhs while East Godavari made around 33 lakhs. Nayanatara’s performance as Sita was simply stunning and Ilayaraja’s music is magnificent.

Even in US, the movie was appreciated by all sections of the audience. BlueSky Cinema has bagged the overseas distribution rights of the movie. And remember, Sri Rama Rajyam premiere show first ticket was sold for $2,500(nearly Rs 1, 25,000) in San Jose, US. Producer Yelamanchili Sai Baba is being specially applauded for making such a movie in modern times. Also, the movie becomes the first Telugu cinema to be screened at International Film Festival (IFI) in Goa on November 28.
