It seems beautiful actress Shriya Saran is playing heroine besides Kamal Hasaan in Viswaroopam movie. Reports say that the makers have decided to rope in Shriya so that she the actress would suit the nativity of the character. This means, Shriya Saran would be sharing screen space with Kamal Hassan alongside Sonakshi Sinha. Kamal Hassan's Viswaroopam movie is tipped to be the Indian version of Hollywood’s Hannibal.

Earlier the producers asked Selva Raghavan to direct the movie but due to second thoughts they have asked Kamal Hassan himself to direct the movie since he also wrote the script. From Shriya's perspective, even she's not having a great stint in the Telugu cinema as she's not been offered many roles currently. Since Viswaroopam is a trilingual movie (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi), perhaps it might do a world of good to Shriya to revive her hopes.
