Festivals have a special place in Telugu audience and filmmakers heart. Every producer wants to lock thier film release during festival times. As usual Sankranthi festival has more craze and this year total 5 films are clashing at box office.

Now makers who feel February month will be average for films are coming with dozens of films. Especially for Sankranthi there are more than 6 films releasing. Four Telugu films are currently locked thier release date for Shivaratri 2023.

Tamil star Dhanush and Venky Atluri's Telugu-Tamil bilingual SIR/Vaathi releasing on February 17th. Young hero Vishwak Sen also announced his upcoming film release date as 17th February. Kiran Abbavaram also coming on this February 17th with Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha. Now Gunasekhar 's Magnum Opus 'Shaakuntalam' starring Samantha is releasing on same date.

Few other language movies are also releasing on this date. We have to wait and see who wins this clash at box office.
