Shirdi Sai Review Story:
A yogi (Nagarjuna) comes to Shirdi and rescues the people from evil , troubles and performs miracles for the people. The locals of Shirdi worship him as God and the people start referring him as 'Saibaba'. His devotees believe him as the incarnation of Lord Dattatreya. People follow the ideologies of Saibaba like sharing, charity, trust and epigram of 'Sab Ka Malik Ek Hein'. Rest of the story is all about how Sai Baba has spread the words humanity and spirituality to the people.
Shirdi Sai Movie Review Analysis:
Shirdi Sai movie showcases the lifestyle, practices, preachings and eternal miracles of Saibaba. Director Raghavendra Rao who is an expert in directing devotional movies has once again come up with a very good narration and conviction. The first half goes on a fast pace with fantastic scenes laced with emotion, devotion and sacred preachings of Saibaba. Once again, Raghavendra Rao concentrated more on the emotion rather than the grandeur. The movie captures the audience attention throughout and the narration is also simple. To name few, the scenes where Nagarjuna agrees that he has given the ornaments to the thief, the way he speaks about the difference between life and death, the manner where he enlightens Lakshmi Bai about the hunger are outstanding. The Srirama Navami and Urusu Utsavam episode where Nagarjuna opposes the Hindu, Muslim fundamentalists stands out.
The hard-work, research done by the team of Shirdi Sai is evident and the way they have collected the stories behind Saibaba using a brick as his pillow and how his photograph has been captured is brilliant. The climax episode is nicely etched and the music and background score by Keeravani is neatly blended into the story.
Shirdi Sai Movie Review TeluguOne Perception:
Though Nagarjuna has acted in several devotional films in the past, 'Shirdi Sai' is completely different from them as the actor has portrayed the role of God man Saibaba in this film. The movie has been made with rich commercial values and it seems the team of Shirdi Sai has done fantastic research in making this film. Producer Mahesh Reddy has kept his word and has made a decent film. The movie was made with huge star cast and Raghavendra Rao has succeed in extracting the best output from the artists. Overall, Shirdi Sai Movie is for all the people who worship Saibaba.
Shirdi Sai Review Performances:
Nagarjuna has molded himself wonderfully into the character of Saibaba and his dialogue delivery, mannerisms and the way he generates emotions is par excellence. His performance is spell bound and he once again proved why he is referred as the undisputed King of devotional films in the present era. Kamalini Mukherjee played her part well in a limited role. Sarath Babu, Sayaji Shinde, Kaushik Babu played their part well. Srikanth is good as Dasaganu. Ali, Ananth evoked few laughs. Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam comedy is lame.
Shirdi Sai Movie Review Technicalities:
Music and background score by MM Keeravani is an asset to the movie. Editing by Shravan could have been better. Dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers are meaningful and catchy. Cinematography by S Gopal Reddy is excellent. Direction by Raghavendra Rao is fantastic. Production Values of Sai Krupa Entertainments are grand.
