Young hero Sharwanand is on cloud nine with the overwhelming response for his latest outing Shatamanam Bhavati. Directed by Satish Vegeshna, the family entertainer film has collected over Rs 16.5 crores worldwide in its first week and it is expected to cross the 20 crores mark in two to three days. As per trade analysts, Shatamanam Bhavati is likely to make Rs 25 crores business for its full run.
With the film, Sharwanand has joined the list of young heroes having 25 crores grossing film. Nithin, Naga Chaitanya, Nani and Sai Dharam Tej have 25 cr share films.
Producer Dil Raju who had full faith in the subject has released the film for Sankranthi, though huge competition from two biggies- megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni. Surprisingly, Shatamanam Bhavati has done remarkable business everywhere and is providing huge profits to producers as well as distributors.
