Director Sekhar Kammula who made several critically acclaimed movies in the past is going to remake Bollywood thriller 'Kahaani' in Telugu. Endemol India and Moving Pictures have bought the remake rights of 'Kahaani' recently and Sekhar Kammula will  be directing the Telugu version. 'Kahani' is the story of a pregnant woman who is in search of her missing husband in Kolkata during Durga puja festival days with the help of a cop. Actress Vidya Balan as Vidya Bagchi in the film, has won laurels from the critics and audience. A leading heroine is likely to reprise the role of Vidya Balan in this 'Kahaani' Telugu remake. Renowned writer Yandamuri Veerendranath is expected to pen the script for this film. More details awaited.
