Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has announced yet another controversial film titled ‘The attacks of 26/11’. This film is based on the Mumbai attacks, carried by Ajmal Kasab, and has shocked India in 2008. The film will be shot with a budget of 40 crores in English, Hindi, Marathi & Urdu languages. RGV said that the shooting of the movie has also started today.

Sanjay Jaiswal will be playing the most important character of Kasab. Talking about Kasab’s character, RGV said that he needs someone very similar in looks coupled with great acting skills to play the role of Kasab and he’s happy that Sanjay Jaiswal perfectly suits him. The attacks of 26/11’ film is primarily meant for an international release and will be shot with new cast. Ram Gopal Varma expresses his thanks to all officers who have given him unimaginable inputs and insights into this tragic event which is making this film possible.
