Samantha much awaited Shaakuntalam releasing on Feb 17 in 3D

Shaakuntalam is one of the most anticipated movies in Indian cinema this year. The film stars ethereal beauty Samantha as the lead actress in the titular role. Director Gunasekhar made this film very prestigiously on a huge scale as one of the epic love stories ever in Indian cinema. The film is going to deal with the love tale of Shakuntala and her husband Dushyanta, as known from the play written by Kalidasa. 

 

After wrapping up filming, Shaakuntalam is currently in the post-production phase. The film has already reached everyone's heart and mind with the first look posters. Now the makers delighted the audience with release date announcement. The massively mounted film will be releasing worldwide on February 17th, 2023. 

 

The film has Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla in pivotal roles. Produced by Neelima Guna and presented by Dilraju. The film is bankrolled under Gunaa Teamworks in collaboration with Sri Venkateswara Creations, the movie has Manisharma’s music. The film will be released in 3D so that everyone can experience the wonder. Scheduled to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on Feb 17th, 2023.

 

Shaakuntalam is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues for the film. Sekhar V Joseph is the cinematographer, and Prawin Pudi is the editor.
