Updated : Apr 5, 2017

Nothing is going in favor of legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam from past few days. Music maestro Ilayaraja sent legal notice to SP Balu in last month claiming the latter hadn’t asked the former for permission to sing his compositions at public events.

Freshly, SP Balu was in for a shock yet again yesterday when his personal belongings namely his passport, cash, credit cards and IPads containing the scripts for all his song scripts were stolen during his SPB50 concert tour in the USA.

Fortunately, the Indian Embassy in Houston, USA stepped in to issue a duplicate passport for SPB. As of now, he has filed a complaint and measures are being taken to identify the culprit and retrieve the legendary singer's belongings.

SPB also expressed his sadness over the demise of Hindusthani Singer Smt. Kishori Amonkar. In addition, he shared the news that he was bestowed by the Andhra Pradesh government their N.T. Ramarao National Award and also shared his elation over veteran singer S. Janaki completing 60 years in her musical journey. He took to his Facebook page to share the experience.
