Rohit Shetty controversial comments on South cinema dominance

Director Rohit Shetty is the latest example of how frustrated Bollywood is with the dominance of southern cinema. Cirkus, which he directed, will be released in theatres tomorrow. The film's strong points are Ranveer Singh's dual role, Deepika Padukone and Pooja Hegde's glamour, comedy backdrop story, and the film's lack of advance bookings.

Rohit's comments, which are widely shared for promotion, have now become a hot topic. From Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan, Hindi cinema has produced many legends. While citing some evergreen classics, he made a sarcastic remark, claiming that just one year of bad luck does not imply that the southern filmmakers have won.

South film fans are now trolling Rohit Shetty on social media. While South cinema is alive and well, Bollywood directors and writers have fallen victim to the appeal of urban life by weaving stories around them, neglecting the corners of the masses.

RRR, KGF 2, Kantara, 777 Charlie, Major, and other films are doing well in Hindi, and netizens responding to his comments with comments like "Rohit Shetty is feeling insecure," "His career is made up of remakes from the South." These controversial comments of Rohit Shetty are now going viral on social media.
