Telugu films Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has strictly decided to launch an ‘Odarpu Yatra’ with all the FLOP DIRECTORS. Ravi Teja has selected ONLY flop directors and he’s trying to console them through this Odarpu Yatra by giving dates to those director make a film with him. So why is Ravi Teja selecting flop directors? While we dont have concrete answers, at least let’s find out who are those directors participating in Ravi Teja’s Odarp Yatra.
First up is Gunasekhar – In a wake where the entire Telugu film industry is scared about Gunasekhar, Ravi Teja came forward and rescued him. After Gunasekhar’s miserable recent track record with flop movies like Sainikudu and Varudu (with huge sets) producers and heroes are out rightly rejecting him. But since Ravi Teja is Gunasekhar’s former roommate, he gave him a chance to make a movie with him. The same story holds good even to YVS Chowdary, a director Tollywood currently wants to avoid. His recent outings have been bad and Ravi Teja made YVS Chowdary (also his former roommate) a producer to make films.
Director Meher Ramesh - The entire Tollywood is afraid of Meher Ramesh after his ‘Shakti’ disaster. Producers and heroes are trying to escape and avoiding appointments with Meher Ramesh but here comes Ravi Teja who gave Meher Ramesh a chance to narrate a story. In fact, Ravi Teja was impressed with Meher Ramesh’s storyline and asked him to develop into a script.
Harish Shankar – After ‘Shock’ failure, everyone went into shock including distributors. No one dared to give Harish Shankar another film to director. Taking a chance was Ravi Teja – he asked him to develop a good story and finally they made ‘Mirapakaya’, which was successful.
Ramesh Vama – Although his ‘Ride’ movie was an average one, no producer or hero gave Ramesh Varma a chance to make his second movie, Once again Ravi Teja gave him a chance to make ‘Veera’. But the movie was a disaster and don’t be surprised even if Ravi Teja gives him another chance.
