TV and film actress Rashmi Gautam has become popular in small screens because of Jabardasth show and in big screens because of her hot and bold show in Guntur Talkies. Recently, Rashmi and few other TV anchors such as Anasuya Bharadwaj and Sree Mukhi faced criticism for wearing short and skin revealing outfits in their respective TV shows.

Reacting to this criticism, Rashmi said, “People are used to watching a lead actress wearing a bikini on screen, but on TV, when we wear a mini-skirt or show a bit of skin, it becomes a big issue. I understand that television is watched by the whole family, but we didn’t do anything extraordinary. Times are changing and so are we.”

Interim, Rashmi who spoiled her film career by accepting all offers came her way after Guntur Talkies is presently focusing fully on TV shows.
