Almost after 1 year of Liger debacle, Puri Jagannadh began his upcoming film Double Ismart which stars Ustaad Ram Pothineni as the main lead. Bollywood baddie Sanjay Dutt is playing Big Bull role in the film. The director wanted to score a big hit but when film got nearing completion, it halted.

As Ram Pothineni fixed on his remuneration, the makers had budget issues and stopped the shooting for a while. As the film's output impressed Ram Pothineni, he graciously offered to take a partnership in the film’s business rather than accepting a fixed remuneration in order to reduce the burden on production costs.

This allowed Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur to take a breather. But close associates of Ram Pothineni say that why would he fixed on his remuneration? They allege that all of the reports against Ram Pothineni are an attempt to blame him for the production halt.

The film nearly 80% of the film’s shooting has already been completed. Only three songs and a brief talkie segment need to be completed. We've already said that the film is postponed indefinitely and mostly will release during summer end.

Now, the latest we hear is that the makers planning for July release. The first single from the film will be releasing in May. Apart from directing the movie, Puri Jagannadh is also bankrolling it along with Charmme Kaur under their banner, Puri Connects.
