Well-known film director Ram Gopal Varma, on Wednesday, received telephone calls threatening him. Ram Gopal Varma told that he is getting threatening calls and abusive messages from them and indeed they are asking him to screen premiere of the film. He said some people are trying to inflict caste bias on him on the basis of lyrics from a song in the movie. They are twisting the lyrics and misleading people, he said. Ranga unit members even advised Ram Gopal Varma not to create any further controversy and remove any argument-based scenes, failing which they shall stop the movie release in AP.
