Director Merlapaka Gandhi entertained audience with his comedy entertainer “Venkatadri Express”. The movie was released without any expectations and it was successful at the box office. After “Venkatadri Express”, he directed the movie “Express Raja” with Sharwanad as the lead. “Express Raja” also received huge response from the audience.

Gandhi didn’t announce anything about his next project after these two movies. According to the information, Gandhi narrated the story of his next project to Sharwanand. Sharwanand suggested Charan’s name for the movie as the lead role is more suitable for him. Charan gave a green signal for the project when the story was narrated to him by Gandhi.
