Mega power star Ram Charan has officially launched his Polo Team yesterday in Hyderabad. Well, we all know that Charan is crazy about horse riding and stuff since his childhood. It was during 'Kodama Simham' movie when his dad megastar Chiranjeevi was shooting with horses, Charan was first hooked by the sport.

As the time progressed, Charan started hone his skills and it was during Magadheera, he finally unveiled his horse riding talent. His strong passion coupled with a desire to do something for the sport saw Ram Charan acquire Hyderabad Polo team. And who are the sponsors for Ram Charan's Hyderabad Polo Team? Apollo and Ohris Restaurant!

Incidentally, his life partner, Upasana Kamineni is also a great lover of Polo sport. She in fact, is sheltering injured animals and horses are one amongst them. Upasana is the grand daughter of Dr. Pratap C Reddy, Chairman and Co-founder of Apollo Hospital. She is fondly called as “Muddula Kuturu' of Apollo Group. With Upasana and Charan decided to come together (with the consent of their elders) Charan has now got Apollo (as their son-in-law).
