Set in the backdrop of 1985, director Sukumar is making Rangasthalam as a hilarious action entertainer. Samantha Akkineni will be seen as his love interest, wherein Aadhi Pinisetty is playing a crucial role. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the project.

Actually, Rangasthalam 1985 was the title locked initially for the film. However, they removed 1985 from the title as suggested by Megastar Chiranjeevi.

The makers have also announced to release Rangasthalam worldwide on March 30th.
