The centenary celebration of world famous actor Natarathna NTR was held in Vijayawada today. Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, senior journalist S. Venkata Narayana and superstar Rajinikanth were special guests.

Superstar Rajinikanth spoke at this ceremony held at Poranki, Vijayawada in the presence of many thousands of fans and reminisced about his great relationship with senior NTR and some memories of that time.

Later, he talked about Balakrishna and jokingly commented that Balakrishna kills with the sight of his eyes. He said that in movies, we see scenes where Balayya kicks a jeep and it goes twenty or thirty steps, but I'm is not suitable for such a powerful scene.

Rajinikanth said, “My friend (Balayya) kills with his single look. With a single eye blink, a vehicle can blast and go up to 30-feet-high. It cannot be done by Rajinikanth, Amitabh, Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan. The public won’t accept it if we do that kind of stuff.”

Rajinikanth said that it is his intention that such powerful roles are only suitable for him. Rajinikanth thanked everyone for specially inviting him to the centenary celebrations of NTR, a great person whom he admires.
