Superstar Rajinikanth’s Robo 2.0 first look poster had got overwhelmed response. The film’s teaser release date has been locked now. Makers of the film have announced to release the much awaited teaser on April 14 on the festive occasion of the Tamil New Year.

Robo 2.0 is being made on massive budget of around Rs 400 crores. Thus, eye-feasting visuals are expected in the teaser. Director Shankar is an expert in dealing commercial subjects and expectations are high on Robo 2.0 which is scheduled to arrive on screens in 3D format on October 19 as a Diwali release.

Robo 2.0 is third film in Rajinikanth and Shankar combination after Shivaji and Robo. Akshay Kumar is playing antagonist in the graphical extravaganza that has Amy Jackson playing female lead and AR Rahman composing sound tracks.

Robo 2.0 last schedule will commence from January 30 in Chennai and entire production works will be wrapped up by February.
