Speculations are rife that, versatile actor Prakash Raj has been confirmed to play Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in Ram Gopal Varma’s film Lakshmi’s NTR. The director clarified on it saying, the news is absolutely false and he is still in search of an actor to portray NTR.

“Some media news circulating that Prakash Raj is doing the role of NTR in Lakshmi’s NTR is absolutely false... just wanted to clarify this matter... No casting has been done and details with regard to this will be revealed as and when it happens,” said RGV.

As per a buzz, RGV is planning to rope in a Bollywood star actor to reprise the role of NTR. YSRCP leader Rakesh Reddy is going to produce the movie. The producer in an interview affirmed that he’s ready to spend any amount to make the film.

Condemning the reports of YS Jagan behind making the film, RGV stated, “It’s just a coincidental the producer Rakesh Reddy of Lakshmi’s NTR happens to be a leader in YSRCP ..Y S Jagan has no connection to it.”

RGV also announced to release the movie for Dussehra, 2018.
