It’s been getting close to six months after release but ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’ director Puri Jagannath is still waiting for his final settlement from the producers - AB Corp and Studio 18. It seems that Puri Jagannath was promised a 33% share in the profits and later was also asked to enact line producer. The director was generous enough to pay the dual role but the makers failed to keep their promise. Remember, Puri has even forgone offers from couple of big Telugu films for Amitabh Bachchan’s movie.
Putting this apart, Puri’s fresh concern is not about payment but about the agreement papers and the documents he is supposed to get from AB Corp and Studio 18. The ace director has to file his tax returns, for which he needs to get all the documents from the producers. Earlier, Puri received all the documents from them but they were not duly signed. Ask AB Corp officials on this, they say they’re clueless about this matter. Now that’s interesting!
