Former beauty pageant contestant Pooja Hegde made her Telugu debut with Naga Chaitanya co-starred Oka Laila Kosam which was a debacle at box office. Her second movie Mukunda which marked mega prince Varun Tej's film debut was also a dud. Now, Pooja is testing her luck once again with 'Duvvada Jagannadham' (DJ) where she romanced stylish star Allu Arjun.

Directed by Harish Shankar, DJ is due for release on 23rd of this month. Interestingly, Pooja Hegde who is yet to score a commercial hit in any language has become most sought after heroine in Telugu all of the sudden with buzz is optimistic on DJ.

Pooje Hegde was already signed for Bellamkonda Srinivas and Sriwass's film. She is approached to play lead actress in two high budget entertainers. While one is Mahesh Babu's film under Vamsi Paidipally, the other is Prabhas's Sahoo. One wonders how could Pooja Hegde grab these star hero films. Answer from them is all the other top and senior heroines are very much busy with handful projects already!
