Updated : May 13, 2026

The buzz for Ram Charan’s upcoming sports drama, Peddi, is intensifying as it heads toward its global release. Even before the promotional campaign moves into high gear, the film is showing its strength at the US box office, with premiere pre-sales already crossing the $225K mark. This early momentum suggests a massive response for director Buchi Babu Sana’s vision of a rustic sporting spectacle produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru.

The official campaign is set to kick off with a massive trailer launch in Mumbai on May 18th. This event will offer the first look at the gritty, adrenaline-fueled world the team has crafted. It serves as a major starting point for the film’s journey to the big screen, focusing on the fierce avatar Ram Charan is expected to portray in this high-stakes drama.

Following the Mumbai event, the team will head to Bhopal on May 23rd for a monumental song launch. The highlight of the evening will be a live performance by maestro AR Rahman, who has already delivered hits like "Chikiri Chikiri" and "Raa Rei Raa Rei." This live concert is designed to bring the raw, earthy energy of the film’s music to a global audience in a grand setting.

With post-production nearing completion athe film is geared for a June 4th worldwide release. The cast, featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma, adds significant weight to the project. These upcoming events in Mumbai and Bhopal are expected to set the stage for one of the biggest cinematic arrivals of the year.
