The director has graced the audio release function of Nitin's Ishq yesterday as one of the guests and said that Pawan Kalyan is god and is equal to his mother and father to him. He also said that without Pawan Kalyan he is not here and Pawan has made him a star over night. Karunakaran made his debut as director with Pawan Kalyan's film 'Tholi Prema'.
