Papa Buka Pa Ranjith for global audience

NEELAM Productions is excited to unveil a pioneering cinematic collaboration between Papua New Guinea and India, aimed at showcasing the rich cultural heritage and exquisite landscapes of Papua New Guinea to a global audience. This film marks the first major co-production project between the two nations.

NEELAM Productions along with SILICON MEDIA Co-Producing the film with NAFA productions in Papua New Guinea. The film will be directed by the acclaimed Indian Director Dr. Bijukumar Damodaran, a three-time recipient of India's National Film Award whose works have been celebrated at numerous international film festivals.

Cathy Angeline Mereun Sike, Pa Ranjith and Prakash will be the producers of the film with the execution managed by Parul Agrawal and Adhya Prasad. The cast of the film includes celebrated Hindi/Bengali actress Ritabari Chakraborty and renowned South Indian actor Prakash Bare, alongside prominent talents from Papua New Guinea.

The score will be composed by three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej, further elevating the film's appeal. The project was officially announced by the Honorable Shri. Inbasekar Sundaramurti, High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands.

Principal photography of the film is scheduled to commence in mid-July 2024 in Papua New Guinea.
