Nayanthara is currently top actress in south, in terms of success rate and also in terms of remuneration she is charging for a film. She is almost demanding the pay equal to what few medium time heroes are charging. The actress hit the headlines few times for bad reasons such as not attending any promotional events of her own films. She is indeed signing films, if and only if her makers accept not to demand her to come for any publicity events. This is one side of Nayan!

The other side of Nayan is she cares for producer's well-being. This recent incident is a proof of her professionalism. When Nayan was shooting for a Tamil film Velaikkaran co-starring Sivakarthikeyan, she was slipped down from a stage and badly injured her back. Nayan was advised to take few weeks of rest. However, she hasn't cared her doctors and joined shoot soon. She is said to be working for the film by taking pain killers. This shows her commitment towards work. If Nayan had delayed the film shoot, it would have beeen additional financial burden for producer.

The film  Velaikkaran directed by Mohan Raja is slated for release on August 25th.
