Analysis:
Director Teja who tasted bitter results in past few years as he made regular romantic entertainers might have worked hard on script this time for Nene Raj Nene Mantri. What’s more, he picked perfect artists for lead roles. In the film, Rna is a money lender who leads happy life with his family. He has great affection towards his gorgeous wife played by Kajal Agarwal. When life goes smoothly, one incident changes their life. The sequences of Rana implementing his strategies to become Sarpanch and then MLA are intriguing. Director Teja penned excellent sequences as whole first half looks racy. However, Teja botched to continue the same pace in second half. Kajal Agarwal’s death sequence is extended and tests our tolerance. Though Posani Krishna Murali and Prabhas Sreenu provided some laughs in the second half. Satires on politicians jumping parties are good in the climax. But, the way the movie ended wasn’t convincing.

Artists Performances:

Rana Daggubati steals the show with his exceptional performance as greedy, cunning and street smartness. While his acting in Baahubali made him many fans, he gave next level performance in NRNM. His dialogue delivery in key portions, especially in climax is outstanding. Kajal Agarwal was good as Radha. She looked gorgeous in sarees. Chemistry between the lead pair is magical. Navdeep is good and Catherine Tresa as a TV reporter has got good role to show her acting prowess and also to ooze some oomph. Catherine gave glamour feast to one section of audiences. Posani Krishna Murali and Prabhas Sreenu were funny. Other artists played their roles aptly.

Technical Aspect:
Director Teja has come up with a good script. However, he should have worked on second half which was far lethargic compared to racy first half. However, Teja should be given distinction for his thought-provoking as well as satirical dialogues. He has showed present politicians mindset perfectly. All the technicians have given their best to support Teja. While Anoop Rubens has given captivating background score, Venkat C Dileep captured all sequences vividly. Editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao’s shot-cutting was okay, but he should have chopped a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes in the second half. Production values of Suresh Productions are high in standard.

Verdict:
Nene Raju Nene Mantri has some pleasing elements for one section of audiences. However, lethargic second half is a big negative factor. Overall, it is an okay film.
