When director Krishna Vamsi had announced the film Paisa with Natural Star Nani, there was huge craze on the project. Nevertheless, movie goers lost faith in the film with Krishna Vamsi delaying it for years. Now, the same scene is repeating for the director's ongoing project Nakshatram.

Nakshatram went on floors long back and it had completed all production works few months ago. Currently in post-production stages, the director and the other cast crew members have no idea about release date of the film.

In fact, there was curiosity on the project when Sai Dharam Tej and Pragya Jaiswal were roped in to play vital roles in the film that has Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra playing lead roles. Even, buyers came forward to acquire theatrical rights then. However, producers demanded huge amounts. With SDT's last few films bombing at box office, buyers are now not even ready to spend what they quoted long ago.

Apparently, the makers are looking for safe zone to release the film. Before that, they have to close business deals for all areas.
