Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's Raja The Great written and directed by Anil Ravipudi was planned for release on October 12th. Produced by Dil Raju, the film has Mehreen Kaur Pirzada playing Ravi Teja's love interest. Prospects are enthusiastic on the project since successful director Anil Ravipudi helming it, ace producer Dil Raju bankrolling it and Ravi Teja is back after long gap.

Latest we heard is King Akkineni Nagarjuna is also releasing his much delayed film Raju Gari Gadhi 2 in the same week. The Ohmkar directing film will hit the screens on October 13th, a day after the release of Raja The Great. The reason for makers of both the films aiming the dates is it's Diwali week. Thus, they wanna cash on Diwali festival holidays.

Nagarjuna's film was initially planned for summer. However, it got postponed several times owing to some reasons. Excess of VFX work is said to be the reason for the delay. But, it seems like Nagarjuna is giving space to his son Naga Chaitanya whose film Yudham Sharanam is gracing the theaters in August.

Raju Gari Gadhi 2 release date has officially been announced by production house.
