Raj Kandukuri who produced the super hit Pelli Choopulu has made another romantic entertainer film Mental Madhilo as his next production venture with debutante Vivek Athreya helming it and Sree Vishnu and Nivetha Pethuraj playing lead roles.

Following the strategy of Pelli Choopulu, makers have organized continuous premiere shows for media and others a week prior to the release. Curiously, those who watched the premiere shows had expressed their liking for the film owing to good writing and making. However, the movie is underperforming at box office. Trade pundits predict Mental Madhilo may not recover investments of distributors.

On the other hand, Nara Rohit’s Balakrishnudu which has got unanimous flop talk is set to become a disaster as the movie didn’t even get decent collections in first weekend. 

Interestingly, Karthi’s Khakee and Siddharth’s Gruham have done well in their second weekend.
