Born on 1 October 1922, Allu Ramalingaiah garu appeared in nearly a thousand films in a career spanning over five decades. He was also awarded the Padma Shri in 1990 by the Government of India and the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001.
Last Year On October 1, coinciding with the 99th birth anniversary of late Telugu actor Allu Ramalingaiah garu, his family members led by Allu Aravind announced that Hyderabad will soon have a new film studio — Allu Studios.
On the day of announcement his son Allu Aravind and grandsons Allu Arjun, Bobby Allu and Allu Sirish inaugurated the construction work of a film studio in Hyderabad.
They started working on the same day and completed it recently. Now, the Allu family is opening the Allu Studios in a grand event to celebrate the legendary actor and comedian Allu Ramalingaiah garu's birth centenary.
The grand studio with all the facilities for filming and post production works will be launched by Megastar Chiranjeevi along with the Allu family.
