Maruthi entered into top directors’ league with the sensation of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. It erased the 'A' director tag on Maruthi and top stars started taking notice of him. Though he directed Venkatesh in Babu Bangaram, the film didn’t attract people.

Now Maruthi is teaming with Sharwanand with the story readied for Havish and sources say the film is titled as Mahanubhavudu. The film is about a youngster crazy of brands. Latest Buzz is that the regular shooting of the movie will begin from January 19th in Hyderabad.

Even as Maruthi went into silent mode rumours spread about his next. It ran that his next will be with Genious hero Havish. However Maruthi couldn't take that bold step as Havish is in string of flops. Had he scored hit with Venkatesh's Maruthi, the project would have gone to sets long time back.
