Well there seems to be disappointing news for Akkineni fans and Telugu film buffs. The screening committee that picks India's official entry to the Oscar Awards has reportedly refused to consider Manam or Minugurulu forwarded by Telugu film chamber for representing India at the prestigious Awards. Sources say that National Award winning Hindi movie 'Liar's Dice',featuring Geetanjali Thapa and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is India's entry under best foreign film category for the 87th Academy Awards. In a way by missing this chance, Manam seems to have missed the chance to emerge as the first Telugu film for representing India at the Oscar Awards.
