MAA TV would felicitate Padmasree Dr Brahmanandam this year (2011). Brahmanandam, who has enacted in more than 900 films, received several awards in his 25 years illustrious career. Tipped as Comedy King in Telugu cinema, Barhmanandam entered into Guinness Book of World Records and was also honored with Padmasree award besides honorary doctorate.

Dr Brahmanandam was able to carve a niche for himself and brand his own comedy style whilst rubbing shoulders with several top Telugu cinema heroes. He has also prompted Telugu cinema directors to create a separate comedy track for himself. MAA TV would honor Brahmanandam on May 14th at 6 P M in Novotel Hotel, Hyderabad and several Telugu cinema celebrities are expected to grace this felicitation.
