Nikhil's epic blockbuster Karthikeya 2 grossed over 127 crores and was extremely popular across the country. Dhamaka, starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, grossed over 100 crores in its first 12 days of release, setting a record as the first hundred crore film in Ravi Teja's career.

The film is still continuing it's sensation in theatres and it will be Raviteja's career biggest blockbuster. Now, Karthikeya 2 and Dhamaka, which have joined this list, not only received audience love and appreciation, but also a hundred crore collection in the same year, giving People Media Factory a rare honour.
