Kushi becomes 2nd highest grossing non Tamil film in 2023

Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha starrer Kushi became on of the biggest blockbusters in Tollywood. The film directed by Shiva Nirvana, showcased the content strength in other languages too. The film released in other languages and got super hit talk everywhere along with decent collections.

But the film is created sensation in Tamilnadu with amazing numbers. With Geetha Govindam, Vijay Devarakonda has created a positive brand in Tamil Nadu and it improved with Kushi blockbuster status in Tamil.

He is really the adopted son of Tamilnadu. The massive craze he has in the youth among tamilians is crazy. "Kushi", which was made as a clean love and family entertainer, collected more than 12 crore rupees at the box office in Tamilnadu last year.

Biggest superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and director Atlee's combo film Jawan is top non tamil grosser. Kushi snatches the second place while Prabhas Salaar' and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal stands in the next places.

Kushi also starred Samantha, Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pradeep, and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles. Hesham Abdul Wahab scored music. The film produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers banner.
