Updated : Jun 12, 2026

Kiran Abbavaram has begun work on his next film, which also marks his directorial debut. The project was launched with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad and regular shooting commenced on the same day. The makers introduced the film with a poster featuring Kiran cooking a large meal, symbolically indicating that he is taking charge of direction alongside acting duties.

Kiran is now handling story, screenplay, direction and lead acting responsibilities for this project. The film becomes one of his most ambitious ventures considering the multiple roles he has taken up. The yet-to-be-titled film is produced by Sudhakar Chaganti under the Joy Films banner, with Suresh Yerra as co-producer.

According to the makers, it is mounted on the highest budget in Kiran Abbavaram’s career so far. Devika Bhat is making her Telugu debut as the female lead, while Sharat Kumar and Sai Kumar play important roles. Music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

The makers describe the film as a commercial entertainer that blends youthful elements with family emotions. More details about the title and release schedule are expected in the coming months.
