Kavya Thapar, the upcoming actress of Telugu Cinema, has made sensational comments about casting couch. She stated that she faced casting couch even before entering into film industry. She stated that an ad film director has asked her for commitment and offered her four more ads if she agress for his whims. 

She further stated that she did not expect such kind of a behavior from the person and was shocked with such a sudden request. She stated that somehow she escaped from that situation. From then on, Kavya Thapar remarked that she never faced such a situation after that experience and has been open about her choice to everyone. 

There have been many actresses who came forward with #MeToo allegations against different actors and directors, producers and Hema Committee revelations in Malayalam with casting couch allegations. Now, Kavya Thapar has confirmed such problematic behavior by several monsters in creative field. 

From 2018, she has been active in Telugu films post her debut in Ee Maaya Peremito. She did debut in Tamil with Market Raja MBBS. After Ek Mini Katha, she appeared in films like Eagle, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, Double iSmart and Viswam, which all released this year. Pichaikkaran 2/ Bicchagadu 2 has been a big hit for her.
