Producers of Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer Katamarayudu are demanding high prices from distributors, cashing in on the actor’s fans frenzy. It is heard that, the film’s overseas rights have been sold for shocking price. Cine Galaxy has bought the rights by shelling out staggering Rs 11.5 crores.

In fact, it is worth the price for Pawan Kalyan starrer film. But, considering few factors, the distributors are risking high with the film. Firstly, Katamarayudu is remake of a Tamil film. Then, it is dubbed and released in Telugu as Veerudokkade. And the film is regularly telecasted in TV.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 which was also a remake has done exceptional business at overseas. Positive aspect for the film was it wasn’t dubbed in Telugu. But, when it comes to Katamarayudu, there are many negatives surrounding the project.

Katamarayudu needs to recover minimum of 3 million dollars from theaters in overseas, in order to be termed as a safe venture for buyers. It is to be seen whether this movie will cross the mark or not?
