Updated : Sep 13, 2016

Kareena Kapoor has been in news ever since she let the news out that she and her husband, Saif Ali Khan are expecting their first child together. The kind of fiery woman she is, she has been dealing with the media's continuous attention about her pregnancy in the right way, and doesn't mince her words while giving strong statements. Recently she along with Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar and other celebrities from the film industry came out to support the launch of the NGO Global Citizen’s new initiative in India. While speaking there she added that she was tired of being asked frivolous questions on the gender of her child. She even went on to express that she has done more for her parents than a son would ever do.

"Wherever I go these days there is just one question asked which I think is quite intrusive but, still I am asked both me and Saif whether it is a boy or is it a girl? Have you found out? And I am like excuse me what difference does it make. I am a Girl child and i would love to have a girl what is the difference", said the actress. She also added, "We are still in a nation where we have been asked, oh you are getting married and still going to work, oh you are having a child are you still going to work. These questions upset me". In other news, Kareena will be soon moving to her new home, a news report said, "Though they purchased the house a few years ago, they continued staying in their old home, which is located 10 minutes away. They will shift into their second house early next year. She meets her interior designer on a regular basis. She wants the new house to look classy. She makes it a point to visit the new house at least thrice a month. The new house will have a garden, a terrace and a big bookshelf, since Saif is an avid reader."
