The Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starrer "Bimbisara" was a phenomenal success that no one could have anticipated. The film, directed by Mallidi Vasshista, was a box office hit and gave a proper commercial success to Kalyan Ram after long time.

It is known that makers confirmed there will be a sequel for this blockbuster film and it will begin soon. Now Kalyan Ram gave a clarity about this in upcoming film Devil Promotions.

During the trailer launch of Devil, the actor revealed that Bimbisara 2 begins from April or May 2024. The film will be directed by new director as Mallidi Vassishta will be busy with Mega 156, a socio fantasy entertainer.

"Bimbisara 2" is all the rage. The budget for "Bimbisara" was relatively constrained due to the fact that the filmmaker was new. However, it has been stated that Kalyan Ram is willing to invest a large sum of money on "Bimbisara 2."
