Superstar Rajinikanth and Megastar Chiranjeevi came up with Jailer and Bholaa Shankar within one day gap. Rajinikanth’s “Jailer” received little attention. The Telugu version received not any publicity.

“Bholaa Shankar” starring Chiranjeevi got solid promotions and received solid buzz. However, following the release, the tables were turned. "Jailer,” which made almost Rs 10 crore on its first day, is presently doing extremely well. 

Jailer is dominating Bholaa Shankar in all Centre’s. After witnessing the response for Jailer in Telugu states, lot of theatres replacing the Bholaa Shankar with Jailer. It is expected to close bigger than Bholaa in Telugu states.

“Jailer” lacks a thrilling second half, yet viewers enjoy the film for its terrific first half and finale sequence, as well as Rajinikanth’s stellar performance. The fact that Rajinikanth is portraying a role that matches his true age is the most intriguing aspect.
