Actress Ileana D'Cruz is not enjoying a good stint at the moment in Tollywood. In her last four outings the Goan beauty tasted bitter and on the brink of losing out in the race with other heroines. Recchipo, Saleem, Shakti and Nenu Na Rakshasi – all her recent four Telugu movies were washouts and Ileana is under enormous pressure to deliver a hit in Tollywood.

Coming to Tamil movies, Ileana is fortunate to feature in Shankar's 'Nanban' but her fate completely depends on the movie's response and till then, no one approaches her. Amid these uncertainties, Ileana made her Bollywood debut with the movie 'Barfee', a romantic murder mystery, starring Ranbhir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra and directed by Anurag Basu. Now the question to be asked his when Ileana was unable to come to the terms in Tollywood, how can she compete in Bollywood, which has the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Kareena, Aishwaraya Rai, Katrina Kaif, etc. It is really a tough ask and again a lot depends on 'Barfee' success.

Previously, Ileana was least bothered about the success of her films since she was on a signing spree and used to quickly switch gears from one set to the other. But now, film critics opine that Ileana has come to a stage where her next film director would give a chance only if her current film achieves success. Now this is really humiliating and a test of character for the beautiful actress – not only in reel life but also in real life. So can Ileana whither the storm? Time has to answer!
