But his recent comments about Pawan Kalyan and YS Jagan sparked a debate. He said When it comes to movies, he is a big fan of Telugu power star Pawan Kalyan and said that Pawan has a unique style. Similarly, he said that he likes CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy when it comes to politics.

He said "I like Pawan Kalyan garu, and I vote for YS Jagan garu, because politics and movies are very different."

Sunaina and Prabhu are playing pivotal roles in Laatti directed by Vinoth Kumar. The film is jointly produced by Ramana and Nanda Durairaj under the banner of Rana Productions and the music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
